5Bees was a program designed in partnership with Wheen Bee Foundation to support commercial beekeepers to recover from bushfire and drought. The program helped beekeepers adapt in the face of climate variability, including drought, bushfire and floods, and the impact this has on floral resource availability. As a result, beekeepers can increase hive production and performance, decrease production costs and enhance business viability.
The 5Bees Program is fully funded by the Wheen Bee Foundation Bushfire Rebuild and Recovery Fund. More information can be found here wheenbeefoundation.org.au/our-work/projects/5-bees
